What is the difference between game and ... - Education Reference

Question by Raymond: What is the difference between game and simulation programming and computer science?
Or computer consequentlyftware engineering. I know there are differences in them, just not sure. I intend to to be able to program video games using the c++ programming language, nonetheless if I hear if I were to get a degree in game and simulation programming, I wouldn?t be fit for jobs that need a computer science degree.
If I were to get a degree in computer science, would I still have the knowledge to create games? Or vice versa.

Thanks.

No, as far as I know. Making games would be, well, making games, which having that knowledge does not help knowing how to make or employ computers.. The computer science would be constructing or working with computers. You know, configuring them, upgrade, fixing, things of those consequentlyrt.
